Introduction

ADS-700 is an ultra low power NBIoT/LTE-M End Node with multiple sensor support. The unit incorporates a built in modem, a USB serial port, 3 digital input/counter, an analog input, a 3-axis digital accelerometer with gyroscope, built in temperature sensor. a coulomb meter and multiple excitation options for powering and measuring transducers. The ADS-700 supports SDI12, Modbus and BLE sensors. The ADS-700 supports SSL, is available for global deployment and can be used with any major Cloud IoT platform like Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, Amazon Web services, Mosquitto MQTT, etc. A D-size Lithium Thionyl battery provides autonomous operation for over 10 years.

SDI-12 Serial Bus

SDI-12 is an asynchronous, ASCII, serial communications protocol that was developed for intelligent sensor instruments that typically monitor environmental, structural engineering and precision agriculture data. The communication is achieved by digital communications. The addressing system allows data recorder to communicate with several microprocessor-based sensors over a single line. ADS-300 is compliant to the SDI-12 Standard Version 1.2 and supports extended commands for sensor configuration, in terminal mode. ADS-300 can collect data from several SDI-12 sensors for a total amount of 15 measurement channels.

RS-485, MODBUS

ADS-300 supports acquisition from sensors with RS-485 interface, using the popular MODBUS protocol (RTU & ASCII). Up to 8 measurement channels from several sensors are supported.

BLE

ADS-700 has a BLE interface that can be used for wireless device configuration and for BLE sebnsor telemtery. Multiple BLE sensors are supported.

WA Manager is a Microsoft Windows application that can be used to configure all of Infinite’s telemetry products. The configuration is done using a graphic interface with simple selections and entries. The parameter settings are stored and converted to ASCII commands before being uploaded to the target device via the PC USB or serial port.
