Setting the Application parameters

You can select default parameters for the device configuration on the 'Application Parameters' form. These defaults are automatically set on every new instance of the device configurations list. Open the 'Application Parameters' form:

The 'Application Parameters' form contains at first place the current version of the WA Manager application.

The serial port entry uses a combo box which contains the available serial USB ports:

If a device is connected, the device port is contained in the list. You can select this port as default port for the current WA Manager session. Alternatively you can let WA Manager search for a connected device.

You can select a default Browser for getting HTML Help from the Internet.

Other fields on the main page are:

Field	Description
Baud rate	Baud rate of the serial port. The rate is fixed to 115200 bps.
Transmit Delay	Delay before sending a command to the connected device in [sec/60]. Typical value is 10 (~167 ms)
Receive Time out	Waiting for a device response after sending a command. Typical value is 10 sec.
Serial Interface	Default value is 'USB'. RS232C devices are BSC-50x V 7.6 and SCOM-100 V: 3.x
Update Static Tables	Update the static tables of the Application. The update is executed after application restart.
Upgrade Data File	Update old Data files . The update is executed after application restart.
