Quality & Safety Assurance, HACCP

Quality and safety of food have to be ensured throughout the food production, processing, storage and distribution chain. HACCP is considered one of most internationally recognized and trusted safety programs in the food industry. HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point system), is a process control system that identifies where hazards might occur in the food production process and puts into place stringent actions to take to prevent the hazards from occurring. By strictly monitoring and controlling each step of the process, there is less chance for hazards to occur.

Cold chain management

Cold chains are common in the food and pharmaceutical industries and also some chemical shipments. One common temperature range for a cold chain in pharmaceutical industries is 2 to 8 °C. But the specific temperature (and time at temperature) tolerances depend on the actual product being shipped.
During the distribution process one should monitor that process until one builds a sufficient data set that clearly demonstrates the process is in compliance and in a state of control.

Temperature recording & alerting

Infinite iLOGPlus-LAN, a high precision RTU/Data Logger with Ethernet/LAN interface, full internet connectivity and I/O expansion capability, can cover all requirements for temperature & humidity recording in deep freezer and conservation rooms, e.g.
• Measure and log temperature and humidity in multiple control points and hold recordings of more than on year in the internal memory.
• Issuing alert in case of an overstepping to a list of recipients (Email or SMS).
• Guarding and alarming in case of freezer equipment failure, open freezer doors, etc.
iLOGPlus-GSM RTU/Data Logger, incorporating a GSM/GPRS modem and full internet connectivity can be applied in food and pharmaceutical transporting vehicles covering the same areas of safety assurance applications.
