Overview

Introduction

MATI-100 and MATI-100 Ex are battery-powered 5-megapixel IoT cameras for remote visual monitoring. They connect to AERINOS ADS-3xx NB-IoT/LTE-M RTUs through I²C, adding high-resolution images to field telemetry.

Both models capture JPEG images at up to 2592 × 1944 pixels using a low-distortion M12 3.2 mm lens. Images are transferred via MQTT for visual inspection, cloud storage and subsequent AI or machine-learning analysis.

Two models for different installations

MATI-100 is the compact outdoor model, with an IP66 polycarbonate enclosure, dimensions of 119 × 119 × 62 mm and a weight of 0.1 kg. It is suited to smart city monitoring, security, precision agriculture and plant or insect observation.

MATI-100 Ex adds IR night vision and a stainless-steel Ex enclosure rated IP66/IP68. Measuring 128 × 128 × 106 mm and weighing 2 kg, it supports visual monitoring of sewers, water infrastructure, pipes, rail lines and structures.

Image capture and MQTT transfer

The 5 MP CMOS sensor provides image enhancement and JPEG output. Compressed image files are specified at less than 500 Kbytes, supporting transmission over NB-IoT or LTE-M through the connected RTU. MQTT makes the images available to compatible platforms for inspection and further processing.

Battery-powered field operation

The camera is powered at 3.3 V from the connected ADS-3xx RTU. Specified power consumption is 0.8 W, with a maximum current of 200 mA. This arrangement supports visual monitoring at locations without a mains supply.

Setup and enclosure

The cameras are supplied preconfigured for operation. Choose MATI-100 for a lightweight polycarbonate outdoor enclosure, or MATI-100 Ex for stainless-steel construction and IR night vision. Both models operate from -10°C to +55°C.
